Vacancy: Cashier
A cashier is required for a Linen, soft furnishings company in Centurion + Atterbury + Boksburg. To ensure that payments done by the customer for goods purchased are correctly and accurately received
- Matric – Grade 12
- 2-3 years working experience as a Retail Cashier
- Computer literate – MS Word, MS Excel
- Experience in Household / Textiles – advantageous
- Customer orientated
- interpersonal skills

- Honesty and Integrity

- High energy levels
Duties and Responsibilities:- Ensure that all items are rung up correctly correctly refer to stock code and price Correct money must be received from customer Correct change must be given to customer Authorization for price changes must be obtained from Manager All items rung up to be placed in bags and handed to customer Cash ups to be done on daily basis Cash ups to be signed by cashier Responsible for generating sales and meeting targets Be attentive and understanding of customer’s needs and requirements Product knowledge Required to assist in achieving the Sales budget Salary Package:- Basic – R3400 per month.
Please note that Saturday and Sundays are regarded as normal working days!
