MICT SETA Marketing & Communications Internship
The successful incumbent will be based at the Head Office ( Midrand) and will report to the Marketing Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be unemployed and possess a relevant tertiary degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing & Communications Management (a post graduate qualification will be an added advantage)
- Applicants must be South African citizens and 35 (or below) years old
- Successful applicants will be remunerated according to MICT SETA’s Intern rates
- MICT SETA does not make any definite commitment for future employment of the successful Interns.

KEY COMPETENCIES
- Perform administrative tasks for the Communications department including e-mail, faxing, photocopying and filing
- Develop and update the divisions yearly events calendar
- Arrange meetings with clients when required
- Update and maintain the communications database
- Assist with compilation of monthly/quarterly reports for the division
- Address any telephonic queries
- Distribute marketing and communications materials to stakeholders
- Distribute promotional materials when necessary
- Maintain updated lists of staff and stakeholder contact details
- Attend to any internal external stakeholder queries
- Receive and distribute correspondence as required
- Provide basic divisional information to internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to correspondence when directed by the line manager
- Provide basic information about the SETA services to external stakeholders when required
- Refer clients and general public to other SETAs if necessary
- Write emails or letters on behalf of immediate supervisors
- Ensure messages are taken and passed on to the staff members
