Although it happened many years ago, this is one incident that the veteran actress can never get over. Quite often, on the anniversary of the shooting Masebe takes to social media to remember that horrific day. Although she was left for dead, Masebe beat the odds, and she survived to tell the story.

After recently remembering the day, Masebe also explained why she still speaks about it to this day. Well, in a nutshell, she is showing those who tried to take her down that they have failed, and she is still alive and still the same person.

“I speak about my shooting on this day to remind the losers that wanted me dead that they failed and I’m still here. Still loud. Still me. Take that,” she said.
