Generations: The Legacy Hints the Return of Connie Ferguson. Just recently, Winnie Ntshaba made her highly anticipated return to the hit SABC 1 soapie. She is back reprising her iconic role of Khethiwe Buthelezi, and already shaking things up. Now Generations: The Legacy has hinted that another one of its stars is making a comeback. This is none other than the legendary Connie Ferguson, better known as Karabo Moroka.
History Based on Loyalty
The multi award-winning actress and businesswoman starred on the show from its start in 1993. In 2010, after playing the lead role of Karabo Moroka for 16 years, Connie announced her departure from Generations to pursue other career options. Since she left on a good note, she was able to return to the soapie four years later, in 2014, to help relaunch Generations: The Legacy. Connie left the show again in 2016. In 2023, she returned back to the show, together with Rapulana Seiphemo to reprise their legendary roles as Karabo Moroka and Tau Mogale.
Is She Coming Back?
With Khethiwe back, old storylines might be visited to make her fit in well. Already, she has interactions with Tau, someone she was close to back then. Could this mean that other characters are making a comeback? On their Instagram page, Generations: The Legacy hinted the return of Karabo. The fact that even Connie commented on the post, made social media users convinced she is also coming back.
