Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance

PURPOSE
. Responsible for maintaining a fleet of modern turbine powered aircraft, in all discipline.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
1. The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
2. Attunement to engineering and aircrafts.
3. Must pay attention to detail.
4. Must have own transport.
5. Must hold a valid driver’s licence.
6. High standard of self-discipline.
7. Will attend training as and when required to do so.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Maintain a fleet of modern turbine powered aircraft, in all discipline.
2. Responsible to deliver scheduled tasks and paper trail.
3. Working independently on line maintenance, snags or inspections.
4. Responsible to comply with the Company’s Operational Procedures.
5. Responsible for applying the knowledge and competence within Scope of Certificate of Authority.
6. Responsible for adhering to maintenance schedules and procedures.
7. Responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with company standards and Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
8. Will assist with any additional tasks within the contexts of the job description.
