Man suing for more money than that which exists
A man is suing a company for two undecillion dollars.
Anton Purisima, 62, claims his middle finger was bitten off by a dog infected with rabies while he was on a bus and is suing New York City for his injury.
The figure – which works out to be 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 – does not actually exist.
According to the New York Post, Purisima filed the hand-written lawsuit in April.
He is also suing and a Chinese couple who took an “unauthorised picture” of him while he was getting treatment and a US coffee chain Au Bon Pain.
Purisima believes he’s a victim of discrimination on national origin, retaliation, harassment, fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and conspiracy to defraud.
According to the Daily Express newspaper, he states “the pain and damages” he suffered “can’t be measured in money and are, therefore, ‘priceless'”.
