The Fashion room launches Webstore / Open call to African Fashion Designers on the continent and the diaspora
We are pleased to announce that The Fashion Room is taking a giant leap forward and launching our web store to cater to new and emerging African designers on the continent and in the diaspora.
After two fantastic years of unparalleled success on the social medial platform, Facebook, we have decided to take advantage of new opportunities. This year, you will have access to your favorite elements of international designs and labels through www.thefashionroom.co.za: a world class fashion platform, the hottest up-and-coming designers from across the continent. We are offering an exclusive opportunity to all designers to list their merchandise for three months, free of charge on our site. Our mission of multicultural African Fashion, arts promotion, ethnic diversity, and positive image remain strong, and we are proud to continue promoting designs from Africa.
The new web store has been revamped to make every designer feel like they’re on a front row seat of the world’s largest ramps. Designers will be able to post their own merchandise, and as admins, our role will be to simply determine whether posted merchandise meets required standards before publishing.Our aim is to get International recognition through a single giant platform, hence the web store.
