If you want to experience life at a global bank and get an insight into where your future could lie, the best thing to do is explore.
Our Explorer Programme gives South Africa’s most talented students a taste of the world of business. If you’re selected, you’ll get to experience the work we do, the challenges we face, and the opportunities we offer. You’ll spend between two and three weeks with us during your university’s winter break – working full time on a live project specific to one of our business units.
The programme offers both theoretical and practical learning, all as part of an incredible and truly eye-opening experience. And upon completion, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for our graduate development programme.
We’ll take care of some of the logistics, so you‘ll be able to focus purely on learning and performing to your best. Simply put, this is an outstanding introduction to our global business.
Who we look for
We look for students who are currently completing their postgraduate degrees in a wide range of disciplines.
But it’s not just academic achievement we’re after. We know that you are not just your degree, which is why we’re also interested in students who have taken part in leadership and entrepreneurial activities and who are genuinely interested in a career in the financial sector.
