Outputs | Products, services, programmes and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organisations mission and strategy:
•To understand the difference between Performance and Mechanical Rights •To understand the difference between NORM, SAMRO & SARRAL •To understand the difference between Commercial Music & the M.Net/Norm Umbrella Music •To collect, check, log & file all music cue sheets from: Production Houses Internal Productions International Productions Marketing Department •To liaise with the above-mentioned regarding outstanding cue sheets •To keep informing the respective Production of the updated NORM music libraries •To ensure correct information are captured: •Correct naming on cue sheets (Genre, Episode, Work Title) •Correct Music details (Artists, Publisher, Track Title, etc.) •Correct Producer/Production House details •To ensure SAMRO & NORM receives their respective cue sheets: •NORM: receive only local cue sheets •SAMRO: receive every cue sheets (local, Africa & International) •To liaise continuously with NORM regarding the correct usage of Music under the License Agreement •To liaise with NORM & SAMRO regarding Copy Right of respective Music usage •To capture old cue sheets from manual copies onto a digital system |
Education & Experience | Matric
•Experience in an administrative position is preferred •Business understanding •Strong administration skills are essential •Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications) |
