The seasoned media personality, musician and actress is best known for her famous television programs like Weekend Live, Into Africa, One Day Leader, The Big Secret, among many others. She is also great on radio, having worked for major stations like, METRO FM. Taking advantage of the versatility of the industry, Masechaba has also tapped into acting, and had roles on shows like Generations and Backstage. A few years back, she showed off her other skills by venturing into music.

Masechaba is also killing it as a voice-over artist, a hustle she holds dear to her heart. She does a lot of voice-over work, from documentaries to radio and TV ads as well as corporate videos for various industries, for both local and international clients. Masechaba has just taken to Twitter, sharing a behind-the-scenes footage of some of the works she has done.

While at it, she shared what it takes to excel as a voice-over artist. As someone who works in different studios, Masechaba advised that bringing a script to life not only requires a compatible voice, but sterling comprehension and listening skills as well. Another thing, one needs to understand the brief and then be able to take direction, ( basically accept constructive criticism!).

It’s also important to be proficient in the language that you specialize in. Ultimately for me, capturing the clients vision is extremely satisfying. Be prepared, be patient and be professional, ALWAYS. Remember one thing, it’s not only about how good you are, it’s about how good you are to work with,” she added.
