The South African government has acknowledged all these inconveniences, and took to their Twitter page to show empathy to residents. On the tweet the government says it understands the frustrations that people go through as they struggle to go on about their daily activities. Citizens have thus been assured that there a plan in the pipeline to end load shedding.

As far fetched as this may sound, the government has vouched that one day, this situation will be a thing of the past. The teams at Eskom are working around the clock to get things back to normal in no time. There is also a further R500m, which will be used to purchase more diesel, according to the statement.
