| Key Responsibilities | KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Ensure that all Rigging Work carried out is to Specification Ensure all rigging equipment is checked regularly (daily, monthly, quarterly) according to the act and ensure equipment is in a safe working order. Coordination and Availability of Crane Fleet (Including Mammoet Cranes and Personnel Development & Approval of All Rigging Studies Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Availability of all Mobile Equipment on Site. Ensure that all requirements of GMR (2) are a hered too Ensure that all requirements of DMR18 are adhered too Manage Budget Package (Costs & Allocations) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To ensure that all rigging operations are in compliance with OHS Act, applicable Regulations and OEM specifications To ensure that all equipment is in full compliance with OHS Act, specifically DMR 18(10), MRP Procedures and is safe and Fit for Purpose To ensure maximum crane utilization at all times. To ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and to work priority. To ensure that all equipment is in full compliance with OHS Act, specifically DMR 18(1) Thru (9). To ensure that all mobile equipment of in full compliance with the Regulations and MRP procedures To ensure that all equipment is in full compliance with OHS Act, specifically DMR 18(1) Thru (11), and all MRP procedures. To ensure that all Rigging and mobile equipment cost are maintained with budget. |
| Key Requirements | EXPERIENCE: Previous Management Experience At least 20 years in rigging and the Operation of cranes Involvement in the testing, Inspection, Service & maintenance of Lifting Equipment (LMI) Previous Exposure to GMR(2) and DMR 18 Regulations or Appointments (16.2 etc) Pervious Exposure to Standards (Relating to Lifting Equipment) Development of complex rigging studies |
