“Why Do You Guys Hate Me So Much?” Lady Zamar Vents on Twitter. She is one of the celebrities who receive the most hate on Twitter. Most of the hate on Lady Zamar intensified after she accused Sjava of rape.
This all started back in August 2019, when Lady Zamar took to Instagram accusing Sjava of rape. During her IG live, the award winning musician explained that on August 15, 2017 she had a bilateral breast reduction for personal reasons. She mentioned that Sjava and a friend of his visited her in hospital when she came out of surgery.
She detailed how their initial interactions were not sexual in nature when they met up at an event a couple of months later. She then said the next morning Sjava invited her to his hotel room and they ended up making out.
“That morning, we were making out. It’s just kissing. He had invited me to his hotel room. And while this is happening; suddenly, this person starts taking off my clothes. And he raped me. I couldn’t fight because I was in stitches,” she said.
On November 5 2020, the case docket was withdrawn by the director of public prosecutions at court. After that, Sjava said for years, he has been advocating for against abuse of any kind, any shape or form. He also added that Lady Zamar, might have accused him of rape, because she felt embarrassed after he publicly announced another lady as his wife.
Ever since the incident, Lady Zamar went from being South African sweetheart to being a villain. She gets dragged on social media, while Sjava is regarded as the victim. For the longest time Lady Zamar ignored the hate, but now it seems like she can’t take it anymore.
Sunday night she took to Twitter, where she vented. Lady Zamar asked her haters a couple of questions, one of them being how has she become an easy target for them.
“You guys don’t know me or my full story and you don’t know why i’ve kept quiet for such a long time…you guys have no idea how you break a person,” she said.
“I can’t move on from your assumptions of what happened to me… you’ve made your opinions my truth… what’s the end goal of all this hate and why are you so determined to believe a story that’s not even full or mine?… when i try to tell you my truth you guys don’t wanna hear it, when i try to move on you guys attack me how am i supposed to exist in this space…“
Lady Zamar also added that she can’t just tweet and voice her opinions about anything especially relationships because of all the hate. This has definitely affected her life negatively, as she hints suicide and jail as options.
“Do you want me to kill myself, do you want me to die, be murdered, go to jail to make you guys happy… do you guys want me to stop making music or publicly cry so you can see how i actually feel about what happened to me?”
