Mpoomy Ledwaba Expands Unlimited Walkfest to Another City. After a few years of building a powerful wellness movement in Johannesburg, Unlimited WalkFEST, founded by Mpoomy Ledwaba, is officially heading to Durban for the first time, marking a major milestone in its national expansion.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic Oceans Mall and Durban beachfront, this highly anticipated edition invites women from across South Africa and beyond to gather for a 5km walk rooted in purpose, connection, and joy.
What began as a simple but powerful idea, “walk your why”, has grown into a community-led experience where women show up as they are, walking for what matters most to them. From mental health to financial freedom, nutrition, real beauty, and women’s health, past editions have seen hundreds of “Galpals” visually express their journeys through colour and community.
Now in 2026, the movement evolves.
“This year, we’re inviting women to add joy to their wellness journey,” says founder Mpoomy Ledwaba. “Because wellness isn’t only about healing or fixing, it’s also about celebrating, feeling good, and choosing joy, wherever you are in your journey.”
The Durban edition is expected to draw attendees from across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and beyond, transforming the coastal city into a vibrant meeting point for women united by intention and shared experience.
