Cornet Mamabolo Returns to TV Starring In A New Drama Series. Many got to know him as Thabo Tbose Maputla from Skeem Saam. Although he has since been replaced, some viewers still refer to him as Tbose. That goes on to show the impact he has had in the SABC1 educational drama.
Having noted that, Cornet Mamabolo has bagged other roles after Skeem Saam. He played Lerumo, a serial killer in The River. The talented actor and entrepreneur has also showed his amazing skills as a producer. He is the executive producer of the new the movie Studying Under The Barrel Of A Gun. In the movie, Cornet also plays the lead role of the iconic Peter Mokaba. The film is a symbol of pride for our nation, it’s a tool engineered by young and highly experienced artists to honor the resilient and fearless young people during the military occupation in 1986 at the University Of The North.
Now Cornet is on to another one. He will star in Ke Nyala Jwang, a three-part TV series coming to Mzansi Magic. Cornet star alongside another talent, Bontle Serai.
