SASOL: Artisan Learnership Programme 2014
If you have always wanted to learn how to be a fitter, boilermaker, rigger or welder and have suitable qualifications necessary to study for this skill, then this Artisan Learnership is for you. The main aim of the learnership is to train and develop a person to become a qualified artisan according to the requirements of Chemical Industries Education and Training Authorities (CHIETA).
You may apply for one of the disciplines below:
TURNER (ONLY Secunda)
BOILERMAKER (ONLY Sasolburg)
RIGGER (ONLY Secunda)
WELDER (ONLY Secunda)
ELECTRICAL (Secunda&Sasolburg)
INSTRUMENT (Secunda&Sasolburg)
MECHANICAL (Secunda& Sasolburg)
Required outputs: Functional
The successful candidates will be trained in the core skills and applicable safety standards related to the specific trade in maintenance and operation of Sasol plants.
Requirements
Ensure that you meet the following qualifying criteria before you apply:
Grade 12/N3 certificate with the following 4 subjects passed:
Mathematics (NOT including Maths Literacy, Additional Maths, Functional Maths, Commercial Maths, Applied Maths)
ANDScience (Only Physical/Engineering Science – no other Science accepted) AND
Trade Theory AND
Grade 12 English OR Business English N3
