“You’re Still So Alive In My Heart and In My Mind,” Connie Ferguson On Shona’s 2nd Death Anniversary. Theirs was a match made in heaven. Shona and Connie Ferguson, gave us the best content as husband and wife. From traveling the world together, working together, being best friends and so much more, the two gave the institute of marriage a breath of fresh air.
Sadly for Connie, her world came crumbling down in 2021, when she lost lost her husband. Shona met his untimely death on the 30th of July, and today marks his 2nd death anniversary. The award-winning actor and Ferguson Films executive producer died from Covid-19 complications.
To mark this sad day, Connie has decided to look at life on the positive side. The actress and entrepreneur opened up about how she has been taking the loss. She states that for her, it feels like Shona is still alive.
“I can’t believe today marks the second anniversary of your transition! Time has become so strange to comprehend. You’re still so alive in my heart and in my mind and in the memories we shared. I still feel your presence so much, but the thought of never seeing you in your physical form again overwhelms me from time to time. But the Lord has cuddled me and our beautiful family in His arms, and we continue to move, to hope, to dream,” she said.
The family still does a lot of the things they did while Shona was alive. This includes, traveling together, eating his favorite food, playing his favorite music, dancing and laughing.
“You are just unforgettable man!😍 Truly one of a kind. God loved me so much he gave me you, and although it seems like it was only for 20 years, it was for eternity, because a love like ours never dies,” she added.
