59 Nominees For The Public Protector Position Announced

59 names have been announced and will be made available on the Parliamentary website along with the nominees curriculum vitae. The nominated people will be vying to fill public protector Thuli Madonsela’s shoes. Among the list are the already publicised candidate Judge Siraj Desai. Also named is Nick (Fink) Haysom who was legal adviser to President Nelson Mandela. Advocate Willie Hofmeyer has accepted his nomination. Also on the list is Advocate Dali Mfofu, chairperson of the EFF.
