Shona Ferguson Remembers His Father Two Years After His Passing

Shona Ferguson Remembers His Father Two Years After His Passing. “If you love your dad, it’s tough when he dies. If you don’t like your dad, it’s tough when he dies. Because you lose that guy. Whatever you didn’t get, you miss. And what you did get, you miss”― Jimmy Iovine. Well, in Shona Ferguson‘s case, he did love his dad dearly, and his passing has left a wound in his heart.

The award winning actor and producer, lost his father Pastor Peter Harry Ferguson in April 2019. Today marks two years since he passed away. To Shona, this feels like it happened just yesterday as the pain still cuts deep. The good thing is that his father left him with pearls of wisdom that he still applies in everything he does everyday. Shona always makes it a point to remember his father on such days like the anniversary of his death, his birthdays as well as on Fathers Day.

The coolest memory that Shona has of his father is of him officiating the ceremony when Shona and his wife Connie Ferguson, renewed their vows. This is a moment that Shona will forever cherish. Another thing, what many don’t know is that the character of Jerry Maake from The Queen (played by Shona) was inspired by his late dad. This goes on to show the kind of impact Ferguson senior had on his son.

But my dad was so cool ❤️ and look my beautiful moms ? Always has her kings back.
