Job Purpose

• Provide pharmaceutical care services within the approved scope of practice.
• Perform day-to-day dispensary administration according to company SOPs.

Job Objectives

• Deliver high standards of customer service and patient care.
• Manage efficient stock control and administration, including medicine repacking.
• Maintain accurate and efficient dispensary administration.
• Perform accurate compounding of medication.
• Provide general health advice to customers.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Support ad hoc operational requirements as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric with Mathematics.
• Meet the Health Professions Council of South Africa requirements for Pharmacist Assistants at Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic level.

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge

• Strong product knowledge in health aisle and OTC products.
• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
• Customer service orientated approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High levels of integrity and ethical working practice.
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Basic calculation skills.
• Proficiency in IT business operating systems.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
