Job Purpose
- Provide pharmaceutical care services within the approved scope of practice.
- Perform day-to-day dispensary administration according to company SOPs.
Job Objectives
- Deliver high standards of customer service and patient care.
- Manage efficient stock control and administration, including medicine repacking.
- Maintain accurate and efficient dispensary administration.
- Perform accurate compounding of medication.
- Provide general health advice to customers.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
- Support ad hoc operational requirements as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric with Mathematics.
- Meet the Health Professions Council of South Africa requirements for Pharmacist Assistants at Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic level.
Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge
- Strong product knowledge in health aisle and OTC products.
- Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
- Customer service orientated approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High levels of integrity and ethical working practice.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Basic calculation skills.
- Proficiency in IT business operating systems.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
