Vacancy: Technical Assistant

Main Responsibilities | Technical publishing, compile, package and/or edit and publish reports Basic research and compiling of data relating to potential clients Basic Project administration/management support to project team: Filing/Archiving Support PM’s and PA with project initiation (internal plans, proposal risk analysis and registration of proposals on internal proposal system) General typing of reports and correspondence Set-up team meetings and facilitate workshops Support PM with debt collection and creditors control Capturing (if necessary) of timesheet and expense claims Custodian of Unit Marketing material – production and updating of CV’s, project references and tender information Preparation of Tender Documents and Proposals Create and manage Client databases Assistance with internal and external Audits Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Secretarial duties (Diary Management, Accommodation/Flight Bookings etc.) |
Minimum qualifications, skills and experience | Matric essential with administrative tertiary qualification will be an advantage Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (preferably within the Built Environment sector) Advanced level of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Documentation control Ability to perform varied and complex administrative work Excellent Communication skills in English – both written and verbal Driver’s licence required |
