Six Nyamane Returns to the Small Screen With A Lead Role. She has played the sassy Buhle on e.tv’s Scandal!, Natasha on the comedy film Blessers as well as Amogelang on Rhythm City. Six Nyamane, slayed every roles she got.
She however, gained fame as a cast member on SABC 1’s popular soapie, Generations: The Legacy. Six played the role of Nozipho Cele, the daughter of leading man Nkosiyabo Cele (Muzi Mthabela). Nozipho was an intrepid journalist who will expose important stories no matter the danger. She found love in Khumo Moroka (Aubrey Poo), and the two eventually got married. Six left the show in February 2025 reportedly because she left because it was time. A a young actress she was so hungry for more, and wanted to travel the world with her craft.
Just after leaving Generations: The Legacy, more doors opened for Six. The recently wedded actress and DJ, has joined the star studded cast of Homecoming, set in the rural town of Bergville, KwaZulu Natal. She plays the role of Dr Zethu Hlongwane, a medical graduate hoping to become one of the country’s few Black female surgeons. When things don’t turn out how she had hoped, with no job or placement, she is forced to return to the village.
Other cast members include Thembinkosi Mthembu, Sipho Manzini, Khayalethu Xaba, Khombi Sangweni-Phetla, Mpilo Mbatha and Amahle Khumalo.
Homecoming premieres on Mzansi Wethu 28 July 2025.
