Negative Emotions Destroy

Everyone gets to a point in their lives were they are fed up and just can’t take it anymore. Well we cannot blame ourselves for feeling that way. We are human after all and we do not have special powers. We have been hurt and emotionally destroyed during the course of our lives. Whilst others are able to deal with their emotions some just cannot, and that’s a fact! It really needs time and all the support one can get.
How can we deal with negative emotions? Maybe before we get very detailed, let us start by analysing ourselves and ask yourself these 5 personal questions. What’s missing in my life? Do I act impulsively? What makes me sad? Do I often get sensitive? Am I optimistic about life?

All of these questions above, whether answered positively or negatively might not necessarily mean you are a negative person.  They might mean you are just surrounded by negative forces which give you enough reason to be negative. Look at it this way how many times have you seen a person walking down the street, just angry at everything they see and swearing/shouting at everyone they meet? Many times, right? Now would you say that person needs to see a psychiatrist?

These are just few of the examples which prove that we do get emotional as human beings. However, what sets us apart is avoiding all the negatives that come with it.

Here are some of the things you need to keep in mind when dealing with negative emotions

The world does not owe you anything

  1. Stop blaming others for your mistakes
  2. Take responsibility for your own  actions
  3. Whoever hurt you in the past must be forgiven.
  4. Speak about the thing that troubles you
  5. Lastly It’s ok to be angry

Look at the positive in life because there is a brighter side in everything.
