A Man Got Arrested For Mugabe Death Joke

Cleapas Manangazira, 34, joked about President Robert Mugabe being died.
The police stopped the bus Manangazira was travelling in at a tollgate on the road to Gweru, that when he told the police about Mugabe’s death.
“Why are you police officers sitting here? Don’t you know the President is dead,” prosecutors quoted Manangazira as saying.
“We are coming from putting a tombstone on Mugabe’s grave. Did you hear me people? Mugabe is dead.”
The bus driver tried to silence him but he continue joking about the president, then the conductors told the bus driver to take Manangazira to Gweru police station, where he got arrested for slandering Zimbabwe’s long-time president and breaching the strict public order law.
A Zimbabwe court fined Manangazira $150 (120 euro) for joking about Mugabe.
