Vacancy: Information Officer

The successful candidate will be required, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Coordination of branch events and activities and provide support for Provincial Events
  • Provide event management services and support for all branch events
  • Collate and communicate branch events information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Dissemination of information to internal and external branch stakeholders
  • Represent the Company at local and district forms
  • Communicate branch information needs to Provincial Office
  • Disseminate information to internal stakeholders
  • Process leads
  • Provide information on the Company’s products and services to potential clients
  • Provide advise to referrals and walk-in clients on basic business requirements
  • Screen clients and refers appropriately internally and externally
  • Conduct briefing sessions with groups of clients using provided standard presentations
  • Conduct outreach sessions to present briefings on the Companies products and services
  • Register clients
  • Coordinate and facilitate information sessions
  • Coordinate all training groups to attend information sessions
  • Facilitate pre-start up information
  • Will be required to attend to all administration
  • Maintain database of clients that require the Company’s training courses
  • Maintain and update stakeholders database for the branch for the branch
  • Register customer complaints, compliments and suggestions and escalates appropriately
  • Provides input updates to the Company’s Information Systems
  • Communicate branch information and branding needs to the Provincial Office
  • Administer the branch library
  • Maintain stock of marketing and training materials

 
Requirements:

Education:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Diploma in Customer Service or Information Management
  • Experience:
    • Min 2 – 4 years experience in customer orientated environment
  • Required competencies:
    • Excellent understanding of small enterprise development sector
    • Understanding standard operating procedures of products and services
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Must be able to multitask
    • Information Management
    • Project Management
    • Needs to be innovative and analytical
    • Team player
    • Must be able to network
    • Must have presentation skills
    • Must have coordination and facilitation skills
    • Needs to be computer literate

 
Salary:  R135 327.00 CTC per annum
