“My name is Lisa Taylor  I am from a company called Educad, The Autodesk Educational Partner for the Africa Region. Autodesk cares so much about the youth and education so much that they have appointed a local representative called Educad to represent them within the African Community and to make sure that their brand, products and technology is spread to the future of Africa. I personally have been doing this since 2002 and I am really passionate about education and its really fantastic to be part of a drive that I know will have an impact on the future of South Africa”

What is Autodesk?

“First a lot of people haven’t heard about Autodesk and i think it’s important to say it’s a global company so Autodesk head office is based in the US, since it is a global company they have representation in every country in the world. Autodesk is the world’s leading design software company. Some people might have heard one of their products called AutoCAD which is the first product that Autodesk created but Autodesk is so much more than that these days..They play in a variety of industries the days and i think that what makes them unique. They are able to provide software solutions for- many different industry groups such as engineering which is mechanical and civil, Architecture Interior design and Media Entertainment so it really is a really vast company of solutions.”
