Pics! Vele Manenje Compares Herself When She Started On Skeem Saam to Now. In April 2021 Vele Manenje joined the talented cast of SABC1 educational drama, Skeem Saam. She was cast as Evelyn Maswahla, an intelligent former school teacher. Five years later, the character has grown and is vying for the position of Turf High principal.
Evelyn’s first seen saw her making a sudden delivery at Charles Kunutu’s (Masilo Magoro) shop. It then turned out that she was in a relationship with Wallet an iconic role played by Molefi Monaisa. Sadly, what they had ended, but we still got to see more of Evelyn. She bagged a job at Turf High, and worked her way up to becoming a deputy principal. The character also grew in other ways, as viewers got to meet her son Tobias, played by Sicelo Buthelezi.
Evelyn is currently in an interesting storyline where the Principal of Turf High is being investigated. She is one of the key witnesses, and thing can either go badly or well for her. The glow up is also noticeable, for someone, who went through the most in the past few years. Vele, the actress behind the role has just compared the old Evelyn to the new one. Other than the fact that both versions are beautiful, the recent Evelyn has that glow, that no one can deny.
