Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing research methodologies for identified studies | data collection tool design, capturing, analysis and reporting for programme monitoring
• the implementation of research studies
• integration of research and data gathering into the organisation’s digital information management systems
• data capturing, analysis and preparation of research reports
• quality management of outsourced services | tracking of relevant external research studies
• contributing to the research agenda of the CCDI
• managing the research resources for the CCDI

Requirements

You will need:

• A degree in the social sciences
• At least three years research experience
• Excellent understanding of social science research methodology
• A working understanding of monitoring and evaluation
• Excellent writing skills
• A high level of computer literacy and experience with digital or web-based research methods is a requirement
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and administration skills

Advantageous

• Research experience using digital technologies would be an advantage, as would being conversant in two or more African languages.
