Marketing Assistant Wanted At Kaya FM. To assist and support the brand activation manager and marketing team with administrative tasks and out of office activities
Key Performance Areas:
- To compile events related budgets by sourcing information from the relevant suppliers according to the prescribed process.
- To liaise with and assist consumers with regards to general enquiries relating to station activities through email correspondence and telephone
- To manage the procurement process of the marketing department by following the prescribed procedure (suppliers, invoices follow up)
- To manage ad hoc general and marketing enquiries from the Marketing Team as well as other departments
- To order, maintain and manage all marketing collateral that is distributed to other departments
- To update the marketing calendar daily according to the prescribed procedure
- To assist with event set-up and break downs according to the prescribed procedures
- To assist with general events logistics through following the prescribed procedures
- To understand and to be aware the company’s social media policies and procedures
- To understand the company’s Corporate Identity to ensure that it is in line with the brand requirements.
- To successfully complete all allocated and agreed development activities
- To keep updated with all marketing trends in and outside of the Station.
Requirements:
- Events and activations knowledge
- Social media knowledge
- Good time management
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of the event management industry
Qualifications/Experience:
- Certificate in marketing
- Administrative management short course
- One to three years’ experience in events coordination
