Absa Is Offering Bursaries For Post & Undergraduate Students

Absa bursaries include the following which will be paid yearly depending on the need of each candidate
Ø Tuition fees
The following fields of study are available with the Absa bursary program:
- Informatics
- Statistics
- Actuarial Science
- Accounting
- Risk/Investment Management
To be able to qualify for a Post or Undergraduate bursary, students must comply with the following criteria:
- Candidates must be currently studying at an accredited university towards one of the fore-mentioned fields of study
- A minimum of 70% must be obtained for the first semester of study in this field within the year of applying
- Candidates who have criminal records will not be considered
To be able to qualify for the new bursary for matriculates completing or those who have just completed, they must also comply with the following criteria:
- A minimum of 80% must be achieved in Physical Science, Mathematics and Accounting
- Candidates must be willing to study full time
- Must provide a letter of acceptance from any accredited South African University

Closing date
Bursaries usually open on the 15th of April and close in July, only for Postgraduate students. Undergraduate students must send it their application as soon as possible with all relevant documentation.
