1. The Soil is made up of Buhlebendalo Mda, Luphindo Ngxanga, and Ntsika Fana Ngxanga

2. The Soil members met at  Tetelo Secondary School, Soweto and we have been together for 8 years

3. It took The Soil 6 years of sheer hustling to get a recording deal

4. The Soil is influenced by Mama Mirriam Makeba, Bobby McFerin, Mama Busi Mhlongo, Simphiwe Dana, Sis’ Brenda Fassie, Coldplay, The Script, Kings of Leon and Ladies’ Smith Black Mambazo

5. The Soil plans on opening The Soil Academy that will help in pruning the raw talents of awesome kids in Mzansi

6. The Soil’s biggest achievement so far was “Sedilaka” into an international movie called Dark Tide starring Oscar winning actress, Halle Berry.

7. The Soil would like to change the notion in the music industry that drugs enhance your talent. That’s absurd.

8. Apart from being musicians The Soil members are also entrepreneurs. They will be releasing a clothing range called GODwilling soon.

9. The Soil members watch and play soccer, go out for movies, river rafting and quad biking
