“A New Era for Tbose Maputla,” Hungani Ndlovu Announces His New Role. His fans were saddened when he left Scandal! a few years back. Hungani Ndlovu made a name for himself playing the iconic role of Romeo Medupe.

Romeo was a charming and charismatic young man who quickly became a fan favorite. With his compelling performance and undeniable on-screen presence, Ndlovu captivated audiences and earned widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Romeo.

His departure from the e.tv hit soapie sent shock-waves through the local entertainment industry. As one of the show’s beloved actors, his decision to leave left fans both surprised and saddened. The news of his exit was confirmed in early 2021, making it one of the most significant developments in the history of the popular soap opera.

It didn’t take long though before other productions scooped him. A year ago, the multi-talented actor and YouTube content creator joined the cast of UBettina Wethu, for its second season. On the series, Hungani plays Betty’s new love interest Duma.

Moving onward and upwards, Hungani has just joined another leading drama. He has been cast to play the character of Thabo ‘Tbose’ Maputla on SABC1 hit educational drama, Skeem Saam. At the moment, Tbose is oversees where he took up a better job. He left his wife Mapitse and Pitse leaving with his parent in Turfloop.

The role was previously played by actor and entrepreneur Cornet Mamabolo, who left in 2021. He left the drama, saying he was temporarily taking a break to focus on his insurance business. He emphasized the importance of taking a break as an artist and reinventing oneself. Cornet, also promised he will be back bigger and even better.
