ICYMI! Hungani Ndlovu Introduces His New Acting Role. When he left e.tv Scandal! about a year ago, so many fans of the show were shattered. This is because Hungani Ndlovu killed his Romeo Medupe role so well, such that he had a solid fan base of loyal viewers.
Romeo was always up to no good, but on the other hand, his scheming ways always saved the day, in times of need. His IT expertise and quick thinking always came through for him and his loved ones. But sadly, even good things do come to an end, and that is what happened to the Romeo character. He was eventually killed after his mother-in-law Boniswa Langa saw him as a threat.
Although his journey on Scandal! came to an end, this was definitely not the end for Hungani as an actor. There was a time when fans petitioned for him to be cast on Season II of Blood and Water, but that request have not yet materialized. All has not been lost though, as Hungani finds himself scooped by another production.
The multi-talented actor and YouTube content creator has joined the cast of UBettina Wethu, which is back for season II. Hungani has been cast to play Betty’s new love interest Duma, and Betty is played by 27 year old Kamogelo Molatlhoe.
Other stars also joining this season of uBettina Wethu are Itumeleng Bokaba who joins the show as Zaza, veteran actor and media personality Nimrod Nkosi as Dingaan’s devious estranged dad, and Abby Molz comes on board as Nubia’s new and always on receptionist, Sindi. The show has also changed the leading man Dingaan Jiyani to Lunga Tshabalala.
