Remuneration package: R 665 652 p.a. per annum.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing software development and technical support for the Parliamentary Website.
Key Performance Areas Include:
- Establishing system administration requirements
- Managing system security
- Maintaining systems
- Managing system administration on projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Degree or Diploma in IT with 5 years software development experience OR a tertiary Software Development qualification with 8 years software development
experience.
Skills Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Application programming experience in PHP (essential) and C#, JavaScript (advantageous)
- Problem-solving ability
- Report-writing skills
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence techniques
- Experience in using relational databases such as MSSQL(essential), Postgres(advantageous)
- Scripting experience in JavaScript and JQuery (highly advantageous)
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
- Knowledge of Project Management Principles
- Exposure to October CMS (a definite advantage).
