Vacancy: Warranties or Fixed Asset Clerk

POSITION OUTPUTS
• Maintain the fixed assets register
• Correcting misallocations where necessary
• Day-to-day transactional work on respective areas
• Reconciling to general ledger
• Tax on transactions accurately accounted for
• Accounting for warranty provisions in accordance with company policies
• Liaising with respective Business Unit Managers and accommodating their warranty requirements

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Matric plus Bookkeeping o similar certificate or studying towards.
• Accounting knowledge/ background required
• Must be computer literate
• Must have sound knowledge of basic bookkeeping and spreadsheets
• Must have sound communication skills
• Must be meticulous with attention to detail
• Must be deadline driven
• Must be able to work independently and in a team.
• Warranty experience/ knowledge advantageous.
