1. His full name is Kolo Habib Touré

2. He was born on born 19 March 1981 in Bouaké , Ivory Coast

3. He is the elder brother of Manchester City’s Yaya Touré

4. Touré joined Premier League team Arsenal in February 2002 from ASEC Mimosas for a fee of £150,000

5. He captained Arsenal for the first time on 9 January 2007 during a 6–3 victory over Liverpool in the League Cup.

6. On 13 April 2009, Touré demanded a move away from Arsenal after a reputed bust-up with defensive partner Gallas
